Halidon Primary School P&C

We are a group of volunteers working together to make a positive contribution to our school. We create fun events for the whole school community which also raise funds to support the school by providing additional resources. We are well supported by the principal and school staff and strive to create a whole school community based on mutual respect, communication and cooperating.

For more information please go to the P&C web page : https://www.halidonpandc.org.au/

Halidon Primary Helpers

The school is constantly looking for parents, care givers, grandparents and family friends to volunteers with school activities, particularly our school canteen. Please register your interest to be a school volunteer at https://www.halidonpandc.org.au/

Membership

P&C membership is open to all parents and caregivers of children attending the school and to citizens over the age of eighteen who are interested in the work of the association.

Being a member means you will be notified by email of all our upcoming events as well as receiving the minutes of all our meetings. You will be invited to attend meetings and join sub-committees where you can contribute your ideas, vote on proposals and be a part of the whole process. You will get to meet other parents and keep up to date with everything going on around the school. You might even enjoy it!

  • School Canteen – The canteen is staffed by our canteen manager Alison and volunteers. It offers a recess and lunch menu that endeavours to be both interesting and nutritious. New volunteers are always welcome.  The canteen is open on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Uniform Shop – Our uniforms can be purchased from Uniform Concepts located in 5/7 Delage Street in Joondalup and is open Monday to Saturday.
  • School Banking – This operates in the Undercover Area every Wednesday morning, 8.15 am.
  • P&C News – The school newsletter contains P&C information and aims to keep the school community informed about P&C activities, highlight positive aspects of our achievements, and include articles that may be of interest to parents.
  • Volunteers – The P&C relies on volunteers to keep the organisation going. If you can spare a few hours a week or month, come and join one of the groups. Your help would always be appreciated.  Being a volunteer is a great way to socialise with other parents and to make a positive contribution to your child’s school.
