Inclusive Education
Halidon meets the needs of all students, ensuring that they all reach their full potential. Our commitment in this area is reflected in our school planning, assessment schedule and teaching instruction. Each individual student is a valued member of the school as evidenced by our inclusive and responsive programs.
Our school employs a broad selection of summative and diagnostic assessments that directly impact on school targets and priorities and the school holds the view that when all relevant key stakeholders are included in the planning process for students at risk, optimal learning is more likely to be achieved. Partnerships formed between home and school should ensure that learning is well supported in both contexts.
